Campus Community Invited to Farewell Events Honoring Chancellor
Several events to honor founding Chancellor Carol Tomlinson-Keasey are being planned for the month of June.
First up on June 20, Merced's University Committee is organizing a "Community Thank You for Carol" event at Lake Yosemite. Starting at 6 p.m., the casual event will feature a barbecue dinner and a tribute to the chancellor. Everyone is invited to attend, and tickets will be available through the office of Associate Vice Chancellor for University Relations Mike Campbell, located in Room 304 in the Gold Wing of the Kolligian Library.
In addition, members of the faculty will be invited to a dinner with the chancellor on June 29 and members of the staff will be invited to a special event with the chancellor on June 30. Watch for more details to come shortly.
