Chorale Spring Concert on Campus

See the UC Merced Chorale in a Spring Concert. The event is 5 p.m. Sunday, May 10, in the Lakireddy Auditorium (COB 102).

The concert features Arts 190 and Arts 2B students under the direction of Lorraine Walsh and accompanied by Philip Smallwood. The chorale will perform one of the most beautiful works in choral repertoire: the Fauré Requiem. Along with other contemporary pieces, three works by American composer Shawn Kirchner will be presented, including audience favorite "Wana Baraka."

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door, and parking is free. Contact Lorraine Walsh for more information.
