Lecture: Cultivating Diversity on College Campuses

Luoluo Hong, vice president of Student Affairs at San Francisco State University will discuss diversity on college campuses Oct. 21 at UC Merced.Join the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women, Women’s Programs and Office of Campus Climate for a talk about diversity at college campuses.

Luoluo Hong, vice president of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at San Francisco State University, will present “The Importance of Understanding and Cultivating Diversity on a College Campus,” from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 21, in the Classroom and Office Building, Room 105.

Hong, a national speaker and trainer in the areas of violence prevention, social justice and leadership, has delivered more than 2,000 presentations and served as keynote speaker for more than 40 conferences and meetings. During her talk, she will discuss:

  • how to create a more inclusive learning and work environment;
  • the importance of women in leadership roles; and
  • recognizing and addressing violence on college campuses.
