UC Merced Librarians' Article Makes Top 20 List

The American Library Association’s Library Instruction Round Table (LIRT) recently announced its list of Top 20 Library Instruction Articles for 2016, including an article written by Sara Davidson Squibb, UC Merced Library’s head of Research and Learning Services, and Susan Mikkelsen, a librarian at Merced High School and UC Merced’s former instruction and scholarly communications librarian.
The article, “Assessing the Value of Course-Embedded Information Literacy on Student Learning Achievement,” evaluates the effects of a curriculum developed by librarians and writing faculty members that integrates information literacy into introduction composition courses.
