Box Service Available, Trainings on Nov. 20 and 21

In case you missed it: UC Merced’s Box service is now available to all active UC Merced faculty, staff and students. Box, a cloud-hosted file storage platform, enables people to collaborate and share files to facilitate teaching, learning, research and collaboration. 

Box comes with 10GB of space and is accessible anywhere, anytime and from any device with an Internet connection. UC Merced users can use this link, to create a Box accountA Box essentials trainings will be held in the coming weeks. Users will learn the basic skills needed to quickly and easily integrate Box into your everyday workflow and how to navigate your Box account and build an environment that promotes collaboration.  Additional topics include how to create new content, upload existing files and folders, best practices and BoxSync. Trainings will be held in KL 232 on the following dates:

  • Nov. 20, 3-4 p.m.
  • Nov. 21, 10-11 a.m.
