Deadline Nears to Help Work Group Define 'Student Success'

March 15, 2017

UC Merced's committment to student success is reflected throughout the campus, from the work of academic programs and student support services to the campus's Vision and Change Alignment process.

What’s missing is a shared understanding of student success at UC Merced and how every community member contributes to that effort.

That's where your feedback come in.

As part of the Workforce Planning initiative, a draft definition of student success was collaboratively developed and is being circulated for campus review. The draft student success definition can be found online along with additional information about how the draft was created.

Feedback from the campus is essential in the development of this definition, and you can provide feedback in two ways:

  • Attend the final Student Success Definition Brown Bag Lunch from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday (March 16) in KL 232; or
  • Provide feedback online through Friday (March 17).
