A biweekly publication for faculty and staff

i4Energy Lecture Series Continues

February 27, 2013

Watch the webcasts of the Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society's (CITRIS) i4Energy lecture series every week throughout the spring.

Later this spring, UC Merced Professor Yihsu Chen will lecture, as will former UC Merced Director of Energy and Sustainability John Elliott.

The next lectures, which take place at noon on Fridays, are "Design of the Urban Public Realm to Produce Environmental, Economic and Social Sustainability" with Louise Mozingo from UC Berkeley on March 1; and “Sustainable Community Economic Development” with Hunter Lovins from Natural Capitalism Solutions on March 8.

The CITRIS-LBNL-CIEE i4Energy Center focuses developing information technology systems that facilitate significant energy and cost savings.

The i4Energy Speaker Series is free and open to all, and is conducted at UC Berkeley.

However, here on the UC Merced campus, the lectures are simulcast in Science and Engineering 138.

You can connect to the live broadcast on your own, too, and ask questions live via Twitter at #CITRISi4E.
