IT Making 'WAVEs' With New Technologies

• An item about UC Merced’s WAVE system appears in the latest UC IT Blog, a systemwide forum that highlights different aspects of IT at UC.
   
• In case you missed the announcement over the summer, UC Merced received an honorable mention during the University of California Computing Services Conference for its Graduate Lecturer Academic Appointment System (GLAAS). GLAAS brings automation and standardization to assigning and appointing lecturers, teaching assistants, teaching fellows, readers and graduate student researchers. The system offers standardized templates, promotes paperless communication and can be used by all UC Merced schools. Read about GLAAS.
