Make Your Voice Count: Take the Campus Climate Survey

February 12, 2013

Some faculty, staff and students have taken the UC’s Campus Climate Survey since it opened at UC Merced on Feb. 1.

But those who haven’t taken the survey yet are strongly encouraged to do so. It takes 20 to 30 minutes to complete, and the information provided by all campus community members will help UC Merced maintain a welcoming and tolerant environment for everyone.

Although the survey is expected to remain open at UC Merced for another two weeks, today (Feb. 15) is the last day to take the survey and be eligible for incentive prizes. Systemwide prizes include two $5,000 graduate stipends, two $5,000 faculty research grants, five $2,000 staff professional development grants, one $10,000 undergraduate scholarship and two iPads for each UC location. UC Merced is also offering five Apple iPad Minis and 10 $50 Campus Bookstore gift certificates.

As of Feb. 7, UC Merced’s overall participation rate was 20 percent; the goal is 30 percent. A full list of UC Merced's participation rates by group is available online.
