Natural Sciences Launches Responsive Website

October 6, 2015

The School of Natural Sciences debuted its newly designed website in late September.

The School of Natural Sciences website now features multiple points of entry. The site, jointly developed by the Natural Sciences and University Communications staffs, offers multiple points of entry and is focused on making it easier for users to find the information they need in an efficient manner.

Dean Juan Meza said the site is the result of feedback received over time from those who use the site most frequently. The site was last redesigned in 2012.

"The school has grown rapidly in the past few years and our previous site wasn’t able to properly showcase all of the exciting accomplishments and new opportunities we had,” he said. “Now, we have a dynamic homepage that highlights what’s most important to users, and a resources page in each section of the site that addresses frequently asked questions.”

Meza maintains a blog on the site now, another first for the school. University Communications Web Manager Amy Lozano-Smith added that the site is responsive, which makes it easy to navigate on all devices.
