Police Department Wins Second Place in Holiday Parade

UC Merced’s Police Department displayed ho-ho-holiday spirit during the 22nd annual Merced Hometown Christmas Parade held Dec. 2. “Christmas Through the Decades” was the theme of this year’s event, and the department channeled the year 1940 with its float that was inspired by the holiday cult classic “A Christmas Story.” The float won second place and $500 for overall best entry.
