Student Data Available Through COGNOS

Institutional Research and Decision Support has completed the first "data mart" for the campus data warehouse. This data mart contains historical information on UC Merced students including demographics, GPAs, majors, last schools attended (high school/college) and other variables.
The data warehouse can be accessed using COGNOS — the campus’s reporting tool. COGNOS users can create reports for reporting or analysis purposes.
Training sessions on using COGNOS and developing reports from the data warehouse are being scheduled.
