Training Dates Set for New Online Performance Appraisal System
As recently mentioned in Panorama, UC Merced is transitioning to a new online system for staff performance evaluations.
Halogen launches this month and will be used to complete appraisals for the review period covering 2014-15. Human Resources has scheduled training to teach supervisors and employees how to use the new system.
Training will take place June 2 and 3. Sessions last approximately an hour. Separate trainings are scheduled for supervisors and employees. All sessions will take place in Room 154 of the Social Sciences and Management Building. Register for training via the UC Learning Center.
June 2 Halogen Training Schedule (SSM 154)
For supervisors
- 9-10 a.m.
For employees
- 11 a.m.-Noon
- 1:30-2:30 p.m.
- 3:30-4:30 p.m.

- 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Employee training
- 9-10 a.m.
- 11 a.m.-Noon
- 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Employees will be able to use Halogen to complete performance appraisals from June 15 until Sept. 15. All appraisals must be completed and submitted during that 90-day time frame. Employees should check with their immediate supervisors to determine their department’s, school’s or division’s desired completion deadline.
