Updated Training Schedule for New Performance Appraisal System

As reported in the April 24 issue of Panorama, UC Merced staff members will soon use Halogen, a new online performance appraisal system, to complete their annual job evaluations for the 2014-15 appraisal period.
The first trainings sessions for supervisors and employees are scheduled for June 2 and 3 in Room 154 of the Social Sciences and Management Building (SSM). Additional dates are expected to be added, and Human Resources will announce that information as it becomes available. Please note that the times are subject to change.
June 2 Halogen Training Schedule (SSM 154)
For supervisors
- 9-10:30 a.m.
For employees
- 11 a.m. to noon
- 1:30-2:30 p.m.
- 3:30-4:30 p.m.
June 3 Halogen Training Schedule (SSM 154)
For supervisors
- 9-10:30 a.m.
- 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Employee training
- 11 a.m. to noon
- 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Employees will be able to use Halogen to complete performance appraisals from June 15 until Sept. 15. All appraisals must be completed and submitted during that 90-day time frame. Employees should check with their immediate supervisors to determine their department’s, school’s or division’s desired completion deadline.
