UFC: Honoring Scholarship and Student Organization Award Recipients

University Friends Circle (UFC) meets from 5:30-7 p.m. May 5 at the University House.

Following a reception of appetizers and refreshments in the University House garden, Chancellor Dorothy Leland will present the UFC Distinguished Volunteer Scholarship and the UFC Community Service Organization Award. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet the winners.

The annual business meeting will be short, primarily to elect the board for next year.

The UFC's mission is to inspire and maintain strong relationships between the UC Merced community and the communities of the San Joaquin Valley through activities that promote social and intellectual interaction, programs of service and fundraising initiatives that support UC Merced scholarships.
