Veterans Appreciation Reception

Everyone in the campus community is welcome to come honor the military men and women who have proudly served our country during a Veterans Appreciation and Recognition Reception on Nov. 9.

All Senate faculty, non-Senate faculty, staff members, researchers and students are invited to attend the event from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Room 200 of the Science and Engineering Building 1. Vice Provost for the Faculty Gregg Camfield will share brief remarks, and refreshments will be served. The reception is sponsored by the offices of Human Resources and Academic Personnel.

The campus’s Veterans Services office is charged with providing a welcoming environment for campus veterans and reservists. The office also assists veterans and their dependents in obtaining educational benefits. Information regarding resources and programs is available on the Veterans Services website.
