Application Period for Staff Mentorship Program Continues

CAMP Registration Open Until May 29
Applications are being accepted for the Career Advancement Mentorship Program (CAMP) for staff members. The program matches experienced staff members with colleagues who seek mentoring and professional development. The program starts July 1 and runs through June 30, 2016. Those interested in becoming mentors or mentees can apply online for the program. Applications are due by noon May 29.
Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
All employees who supervise others are required to complete sexual harassment prevention training every two years. The campus will offer "Sexual Harassment Prevention Training: A Live Theater Performance" from 8:30-10:30 a.m. May 14 in COB 120.
This production is primarily for supervisors and managers who have not completed their assigned Sexual Harassment Prevention online training. However, there are many seats available, so the production is open to all staff and faculty members interested in attending.
To register online, log in to the UC Learning Center using your UCMNetID. Type “SHP” in the search box. Select the course, click “register,” and then click “submit.” Please be sure to bring your CatCard to the training for an easy check-in process.
Fidelity Investments Coming to UC Merced May 28 and 29
The Fidelity Investments Planning and Guidance consultant will be on campus to meet one-on-one with interested faculty and staff members to review their plans regarding retirement savings or other financial goals. Sessions are up to 45 minutes each and are by appointment only.
The consultant will be on campus May 28 in KL 359 and at the Mondo Building in the Granite Room on May 29.
Schedule an appointment online. Once on the site:
- Click the button for "one-on-one consultations”
- Select the "University of California" link and choose your location from the drop-down list
