Risky Business
Risk Services is proud to announce "Risky Business," a day focusing on risk awareness at UC Merced.
Risky Business is a day dedicated to bringing together our campus partners to communicate and collaborate on risk management issues through a variety of free webinars, workshops, training materials and other tools.
Come be a part of this exciting event on Jan. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Kolligian Library, Room 209 and Room 217. Registration for attendees and exhibitors is free and will open Nov. 15.

Payroll Fridays
For convenient in-person access to Payroll Services, bring your questions to Kolligian Library, Room 201 on any Friday. Each week, a payroll expert is stationed on campus until 5 p.m. for the opportunity to meet and discuss your concerns, without making a formal appointment. Service isn't limited to Fridays though. Payroll Services can be emailed or called 209-228-2PAY (2729) any weekday.
Upcoming Meetings and Training
- Contracts & Grants Accounting is hosting a tutorial from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Nov. 15 in Science and Engineering Building, Room 200 that will familiarize Faculty Reporting System users with available tools and capabilities, and how to navigate the system. Light refreshments will be provided. Email for more information.
- The AO/MSO Meetings, originally scheduled for Nov. 20 and Dec. 18, are being canceled and combined into one extended meeting in lieu of upcoming holiday schedules. Tenatively, the alternate meeting time is calendared from 10 a.m. to noon on Dec. 4 in Kolligian Library, Room 232, with an extended agenda. Check the Controls & Accountability website for any updates.
