CITRIS Foundry Taking Apps for Startups

The CITRIS Foundry and the UC Merced Venture Lab are looking for highly motivated student, staff, faculty and alumni teams to help launch innovative startup companies.

The CITRIS Foundry, the University of California technology accelerator that helps students create new startup companies, is accepting applications for its Fall 2016 cohort. The application deadline is 11:59 p.m. Sept. 25.

The program provides:

  • $5,000-$10,000 in seed funding for startups;
  • more than $50,000 in resources including office, meeting and lab space, cloud computing, legal services and education;
  • customized mentorship from an extensive network of entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts;
  • a strong community of fellow founders; and
  • access to the UC Merced Venture Lab.
