Connexxus, Travel Reimbursement Training Coming Up

December Training

  • Familiarize yourself with the Connexxus travel reservations system and learn the appropriate procedures for making care, airline or hotel reservations when on university business during a training session from 1 - 2 p.m. Dec. 16  in KL 201. Register online.
  • Learn how to request reimbursement for travel and entertainment expenses incurred on the job by using the Express online system. Training is from 2 - 4 p.m. Dec. 16 in KL 201.
  • Purchasing, full accounting unit (FAU) and CatBuy trainings are scheduled on Dec. 16, 17 and 18, respectively. The sessions are required for certain positions on campus and are also informative for any staff or faculty member who wants to familiarize themselves with the university’s purchasing protocols and procurement system. The training website has additional details.
  • Check training.ucmerced.edu for other upcoming opportunities to receive instruction on systems and protocols you use on the job.

Campus Meetings and One-on-One Assistance

  • The AO/MSO Meeting originally scheduled for Dec. 17 has been cancelled. The next meeting is from 10:45 a.m. to noon Jan. 15 in KL 232.

  • Tax Tuesdays: UC Merced Tax Services is available on campus by appointment between 8:30-10:30 a.m. in KL201 on the third Tuesday of each month. If you need assistance with campus tax related questions and matters, make arrangements via tax@ucmerced.edu or by contacting Tax Services Manager Kiran Samran at ext. 4075. For helpful information, visit tax.ucmerced.edu

  • Payroll Fridays: Every Friday until 5 p.m., a Payroll expert is stationed in KL 201 to meet and discuss payroll concerns without having to make a formal appointment. If you have payroll-related questions anytime during the week, you can also contact the payroll department at ext. 2729 or payroll@ucmerced.edu.

Stay informed on progression of the UCPath project by visiting UC Merced’s UCPath website, which hosts a collection of background materials and updates surrounding the new system for payroll, academic personnel, timekeeping and human resources information.
