Deadline to Submit Career Tracks Reconsideration is Sept. 30

Career Tracks, the job classification and compensation system for nonrepresented staff, is set to launch Oct. 1, and the deadline to submit a reconsideration request is Sunday, Sept. 30.
Reconsideration is a review of an employee’s mapping. The formal reconsideration process requires the involvement and approval of the employee’s supervisor or manager. However, Human Resources will consider a reconsideration request directly from an employee under exceptional circumstances. Employees who want to request reconsideration outside of the formal process should contact HR directly and provide a brief explanation of the special circumstances.
Reconsideration requests should include an updated job description, created in Job Builder, an updated organization chart and completed and signed Career Tracks Reconsideration Request form. Questions can be directed to comp@ucmerced.edu.
