The unit continues to meet with the campus' senior leadership to discuss recommendations. A status update is available online.

Training schedule

Human Resources’ Professional and Organizational Development unit offers various training including courses for the supervisory certificate program, Professional Learning Academy and desktop applications. Registration is now being accepted for the following course:

Sexual Harassment Prevention – A Live Theater Performance for managers and supervisors from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 18 in the Lakireddy Auditorium (COB 102). All employees who supervise others are required to complete sexual harassment prevention training every two years. In addition to staff supervisors and managers, most academic employees -- including all faculty -- have been identified as having supervisory authority and as such, are required to receive the training.

New supervisors must complete this training within six months of assuming supervisory responsibilities.
