Librarians Collaborate with CRTE to Offer Faculty Seminar Series

December 4, 2013

The Center for Teaching Excellence (CRTE) launched its Faculty Seminar Series this year with the theme “Preparing Research Ready Students for the Digital Age.” UC Merced librarians have collaborated with CRTE to offer theme-related workshops including “Teaching Academic Integrity” and “Digital Tools for Project Management & Collaboration.”

The series is open to all faculty members, postdoctoral scholars, and instructional staff members. Each participant has the option of completing a final project assignment to receive a certificate. Final projects are intended to be activities or proposals that will enhance students’ research readiness.

For people interested in participating this academic year, the series practicum will be repeated from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 17 and Jan. 17. For full details and workshop registration forms, please visit the Faculty Seminar Series schedule.
