Library Highlights Service With New 'Liaisons' Program

August 24, 2016

This fall, the UC Merced Library launches a new program designed to foster communication between the campus’s faculty members and the library.

The program, Library Liaisons, provides a structured approach to help faculty members find the answers they need regarding library services and resources. It also facilitates collaboration on projects and supports faculty research and teaching success.

Individual librarians have been assigned broad subject areas for which they serve as the primary contact between the UC Merced Library and faculty members.

An initial goal of the liaisons program is to make contact with every graduate group chair. However, liaisons are also available to meet with interested faculty members in groups or individually.

Visit the Library Liaisons website for a list of librarians and their subject areas.
