Martins Named Cal Pac Soccer Coach of the Year

UC Merced’s men’s soccer coach Albert Martins has been named the Cal Pac Conference Men’s Soccer Coach of the Year for 2014.
Since Martins joined UC Merced two years ago, the team’s record improved from four wins last season to 12 this year. Under his guidance, the team also produced the Cal Pac Offensive Player of the Year and a handful of all-conference players.
