Brian Powell Named New AVC of Human Resources
In case you missed it, Vice Chancellor Michael Reese announced this week the appointment of Brian K. Powell as UC Merced’s new assistant vice chancellor of Human Resources. Powell is a licensed attorney who specializes in labor and employment law.
Since 2013, he has served at Columbia University as associate dean for Faculty Affairs, Human Resources and Administration for the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. His new appointment begins Jan. 19, 2015. Read Vice Chancellor Reese’s full announcement.

New Employee Orientation, Resources
