New Internal Audit Mentorship Program and More

September 24, 2014

Internal Audit Mentorship Program

The UC Merced Office of Internal Audit and Human Resources' Professional Development units are proud to present the campus's first Internal Audit Mentorship Program.

The program is an ideal learning opportunity for employees to gain valuable field experience and develop the necessary skills to develop their careers at UC Merced. As internal audit mentees, employees will work closely with the director of internal audit to analyze various aspects of our university’s operations to test the strength and reliability of our critical internal controls.

Mentees will spend time in the various UC Merced facilities and satellite locations depending on Internal Audit project schedules.

Additional information and an application via IntelForms is available online

Fall a Good Time to Check Flexible Spending Account Balance

If you are currently enrolled in UC's Health or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA), now is a good time to review your account information to make sure you are using all the funds in your account. You have until March 15, 2015, to use the funds in your account.

Remember: You lose any balance you don't use and claim by that date.

You must be enrolled through Dec. 31 in order to participate in the grace period.

Sign in to your CONEXIS account online to view your balance and other account information. Your review of your FSAs can help you plan for re-enrolling for 2015. You can re-enroll during Open Enrollment, which begins Oct. 30.
