Today is Last Day to Incur Expenses for 2012 Flex Spending Accounts
Employees who had health care and/or dependent care flexible spending accounts (FSA) in 2012 and have unused funds, have until March 15 to incur expenses. Unused FSA funds are forfeited to the plan. All required receipts for expenses incurred by March 15 must be submitted to Conexis for reimbursement by April 15. Please check your Conexis account to ensure there are no unverified FSA card expenses for which Conexis requires additional documentation.
Fidelity Investments: Changes to Fund Menu, Upcoming Workshops on April 24
Important changes are coming to UC's Fund Menu in 2013. The Fund Menu is the list of investment options available to employees through the Fidelity Investments website. To learn how you may be affected by these changes, a workshop is scheduled at 2:15 p.m. April 24 in KL 397. Space is limited. To register, call 800-642-7131.
In addition to the Fund Menu changes, other one-hour workshops are scheduled April 24. All workshops will be held in KL 397:
- Your UC Retirement System, 1:15 p.m.
- Women and Investing, 3:15 p.m.
- Help Desk (walk-in assistance for employees), 4:15 p.m.

To register:
- Log in to the UC Learning Center using your UC Merced Net ID.
- Search for training by name in the search bar on the left of your screen.
- Select the course you are interested in, click Register to see offerings, schedule and location details.
- Check the box next to the class that fits your needs and click Submit to register.

New Employee Orientation, Online Resources
New employee orientation is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 5 in KL 232. The next orientation is May 3. For more information, visit the new employee orientation page.
