Registration Still Open for Risk Services Event on March 27

There's still time to register for "Risky Business: A Day Focusing on University Risk Management Awareness," happening from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 27.
The event, hosted by UC Merced Risk Services, will bring together faculty and staff from across campus to communicate on common risk management issues. Participants may attend up to four workshops, browse exhibits, meet coworkers and enjoy a free luncheon. Topics include event planning, driving on university business, workers compensation and staying safe while traveling.
The rescheduled event, originally planned for January, now includes an added session with Grace Crickette, the chief risk officer for the Office of the President.
A webinar, “Courageous Risks in Higher Education: Everyone Is a Risk Manager,” will be shown during lunch. Participants must attend at least one workshop in order to receive lunch.
