September Training and Meetings from Business and Financial Services

Departmental cashiers, supervisors and those responsible for petty cash funds must take cash-handling training to learn policies and procedures. Sign up now to attend the course. The following classes will be held in KL 201:

  • Sept. 12, 3-4 p.m.
  • Sept. 16, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
  • Sept. 23, 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Travel Policy and Procedures Training

If making travel reservations or submitting reimbursements for work-related travel or entertainment expenses is part of your job duties, you need to be versed in the policies and systems to ensure timely and compliant results. Learn what you need to know by registering at training.ucmerced.edu. Coming up:

  • Sept. 17 - Overview of the Connexxus travel reservations system and the pre-trip authorization (PTA) system. 1-2 p.m. in KL 201.
  • Sept. 17 - Overview of the Express reimbursement system, 2-4 p.m. in KL 201.

Completion of the online travel policy training course is required before attending the above courses. Register at the UC Learning Center.

Monthly AO/MSO Meeting

The AO/MSO monthly meetings are open to anyone who wants to hear important campus updates, developments and requirements. The group meets from 10:45 a.m. to noon Sept. 16 in KL 232.

Payroll Fridays

Until 5 p.m. every Friday, a Payroll expert is stationed in KL 201 to meet and discuss your concerns without making a formal appointment. If you have questions at any time during the week, contact Payroll at ext. 2729 or payroll@ucmerced.edu.
