UC Merced Hosts Polling Station on Election Day, Nov. 6

October 26, 2012

Registered voters in Merced County will be able to cast their ballots on Election Day at UC Merced.

The polling station in the California Room, inside the Visitors Center, will remain open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The UC Merced polling site is one of three satellite polling stations in the county. All Merced County registered voters may vote there. ID is not required under California law, but it is recommended for first-time voters.

Voters will receive provisional ballots at the satellite polling station only if their status as Merced County registered voters cannot be verified.

Otherwise, those whose voter registration can be confirmed will receive regular ballots that will be tallied in the standard fashion.
