UC’s Annual Sautter Award Program Open for Nominations
Calling all UC information technology innovators: The University of California’s Sautter Award Program, which celebrates innovation in information technology, is accepting nominations through May 19.
The annual awards recognize technology projects that demonstrate the program’s values, including innovation, collaboration and operational efficiency, and advance UC’s teaching, research, health care and public service mission.
The program is open to faculty and staff members from all UC campuses and medical centers, the Office of the President, Hastings College of the Law and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Teams or individuals who have implemented innovative IT projects at UC in the past three years are encouraged to submit applications for awards.
The program presents up to three golden awards, two silver awards and five honorable mentions.
The application deadline is 5 p.m. May 19. Award recipients will be announced at the UC Computing Services Conference at UC San Diego in early August.
For more details about the award and how to apply, visit the Sautter Award program website.
Named for UC Riverside's former associate vice chancellor for computing and communications, the award program is sponsored by the UC IT Leadership Council.
