October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month

The Office of Information Technology (IT) is excited to promote cyber security awareness across campus through posters, email, articles on the IT website, portal messages (IT News and Tips) and a new Information Security Awareness online training activity available through the UC Learning Center. Please visit IT’s Information Security Awareness Training webpage for more information. Meanwhile, IT is highlighting the following cyber security tips this month:
- Do not share passwords
- Reduce stored records
- Practice mobile device security
- Be aware of email phishing
- Know how important you are in practicing cyber security
