Events include:
- Webcast - Open Access: Redefining Impact, sponsored by SPARC and the World Bank Open Knowledge Repository
- Reception honoring UC Merced faculty members who are open-access-fund recipients
- Film Screening - "Copyright Criminals," a 53-minute documentary about the hip hop music sampling industry and the surrounding copyright issues
