Professor Emilia Huerta-Sánchez and collaborators show in a new study that the Tsimshian, a First Nations community in the Prince Rupert Harbor region of British Columbia in Canada, had mutations that might have made them more susceptible to diseases introduced during European colonization.

Human Resources

Anthem Blue Cross became the administrator for medical, behavioral health and prescription drug benefits for UC’s PPO medical plans on Jan. 1, but some plan members have experienced technical difficulties. UCOP is working with plan administrators to fix the issues.
